This restaurant serves delicious, authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. The cacio e pepe is the best I've had in this country. The pizzas are similar to those in Rome. The service is outstanding and they now offer a lunch service. They also have one of the few dog-friendly patios in Evanston. The only downside is that they close early.
This restaurant is a wonderful choice for Italian cuisine. We started with the fried calamari appetizer, which was some of the best I have ever had. I ordered the lamb special and it was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the cacio e pepe dish as well. I recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine during peak dinner hours.
There are not many Italian restaurants that still make a good dish of clams with linguini. This restaurant does, along with delicious risotto and many other options. They have a great wine selection and their pizza is very good, although we usually order it to go. It's a fantastic place!
We started with the fried calamari. Delicate, tender and flavorful. We each had a different pasta dish, all of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was attentive and professional. Will definitely return. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food here is always delicious. Authentic Italian menu. My favorite is the Bruschetta, Ravioli di Pollo and for dessert Cannoli. Even getting food for take out is delicious. Staff are also always friendly.
I ordered take out for the pappardelle so funghi porcini and it was amazing. I ordered and picked up within 10 minutes and the food was hot and fresh. Noodles taste homemade. 10/10 would order again.
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Evanston. The food is always delicious, especially the grilled calamari, Cacio e Pepe, and carbonara. The service is consistently good as well.
This place wasn’t bad, just everything I tried was a little bland. We had to add salt to most our dishes. It was okay- I might try it again in the future if I get a different dish. Reserva una mesa ahora
Always a good choice. Good place to come off hours when it’s a little quieter but at the height of the night we still get great service. Food is consistently outstanding.
