Trattoria Pizzeria Venezia

After a long journey to Essen, when we need choose a place to have a dine, without hesitation, we said Pizzeria Venezia; however that Sunday we have a bad experience, the girl who took our order was careless, she forgot to bring our drinks for more than 20 minutes, despite bringing the starter, never returned to ask for our order or inform us they having some delay. We decided to move across the street -Yes Z place and hv our dinner there-. You might think I'm a masochist because next weekend we returned not only on Saturday, again on Sunday. The italian dishes are pretty good, big portions, and obviusly the lady was not there. The food and service was pretty good!

First of all service is super- they brought the pizzas with less than 10 minutes we ordered!Our pizzas were delicious- we ordered one with mushrooms (vegetarian) and one hawaii the medium size (32 cm) and they were huge (I couldn't finish mine!)They were great and the price was too..... for 2 pizzas and drinks we only paid 20 euros.. definitely we will be going back !

I really liked the description of the antipasti and chose it with the spaghetti bolognaise. After the waiter told me I needed to be hungry I took his advice and just ordered the start as I was not in a rush. Good job I did as it was a large dish with an amazing range of flavours, textures and colour. I didn't even have room for a sweet. Staff very friendly too.

Love the food... Love their freshly made pizzas and pasta... Yummy. Love the fact that they readily make food for my food allergic child and work around the allergies to make the child comfortable. Must visit if you love freshly made food. Have tried a lot of the menu and nothing has disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora

We went for a salami with spicy salami, capers and a LITTLE garlic.We got a regular salami pizza with capers but TONS of garlic.Overall quite average - the pizza reminds me of something from the 1980s.They also don't do any lunch deals, and the water is quite expensive.

Our first visit in Essen was Sep 2014 and now when ask us about go out for a dinner after a long air travel, we haven't doubt to ask visit again Venezia Pizzeria, the food and service was good. Even for a not german speaking.

The best pesto I had outside of Italy. The pizza was also very very tasty and crispy. The portions were big and the price was very affordable

We chose this restaurant pretty much at random on a busy Saturday night. The pizza was tasty and the service very good.

resonable price, delicious food, friendly service! espeaially I like spaggetti with prawn very much!
