We are Australians visiting France for about the forth time. We stumbled across this Restaurant while walking about Dijon. We are lovers of Italian food and visit many fine Italian restaurants back home. This has only been open for a month. Run by an Italian girl and her Father this offers some of the best Italian food we have ever had either in Australia or Italy. We are haters of buffet but they had a small buffet of Italian vegetables that you choose yourself. This was odd to me but proved to be terrific. So choose your vegetables early and they will heat them for you. We had the veal and the vegetables, followed by a very good Tiramisu along with some excellent Italian wines. So all in a...
Unfriendly reception, sparkling water was not chilled (they had just bought it a few moments before as we saw the waiter arriving with it), risotto was boiled rice with sauce added and lacked flavor, carbonara was a running unbound sauce (we do know how to make a good carbonara) but the porcetta (lard) was very tastefull. The penne vodka also lacked flavor. The suggestions were all not available and we got a printed paper as a menu with 4 main courses. A total disappointment as there seem to be a lot of better restaurants in Dijon. They were also the only restaurant where the waiters did not wear a mask.
We are from Austria, Vienna. We are lovers of Roman cuisine. Restaurant, run by daughter and father offers family atmosphere. The starter buffet is excellent. The pasta was fantastic.
