Trattoria Valona

First timers, won’t be the last. From the moment you walk in you are treated like family. The owner greets and seats you. He also visits with each table during the course of your meal. We ended up chatting to the folks next to us. Come to find out we were there because of the rave review they had given. Its BYOB so bring wine or beverage of choice. We started with meatballs and fried calamari. Calamari was cooked perfectly. Meat balls like my Grandma made. Lobster ravioli and chicken Milanese delicious. Best tiramisu I’ve had, delicate and presentation was beautiful. Portions are a perfect size. Some reviewers complained about portion size, not sure why. I couldn’t even finish my chicken. Service impeccable, attentive, pleasant and vey knowledgeable. Don’t miss this place. Make reservations as it’s small and fills up fast.

the Ribeye-Special did not meet the expectations until the thick of the steak. it seems that the steaks were slender at some place. the taste with crabs and gorganzola was delicious on the steak. the lamb dogs were delicious. also the arancini and Charcuterie board was good.

on Sunday evening we enjoyed a phenomenal eating in trattoria valona. we shared the grilled calamari arancini, we had salmon, branzini calf chop everything we are perfectly prepared, and we ended up with a lemon. we all recommend this restaurant.

Lovely byo. Very crowded. Food was slow coming out but it was understandable since every seat was taken and when patrons left their seats were quickly filled…. Portions are adequate

My grandchildren and we enjoyed our experience here. Great service and food. The tiramisu was excellent! We shall return.
