Toscano 's menu del dia is substantial. The number of dishes you have to choose from as your main course—SEVENTEEN!—is substantial. The serving sizes themselves, especially considering they come with soup, a fresh bread roll, and dessert, is substantial too. (Let’s just say my stomach wasn’t ready to play basketball three hours later. Not helping my stomach’s case was that, as any good Italian restaurant does, but most restaurants in Colombia don’t, the dishes had a substantial amount of cheese. And finally, the flavor level was substantial too. For the price of 16,000 COP including service, I’d say that’s a substantially good deal. After reading some very positive reviews, I came in with high expectations. For the most part, my expectations were met. The menu del día is an excellent value $13,900), with both vegetarian and meat options ranging from pasta to pizza, lasagna to risotto, and more. I chose the risotto, and that is perhaps why I’m only leaving 4 stars. Risotto is a challenging, slow-cooked dish. Our service was excellent and speedy, but I don’t think that got the risotto quite “right” as in “perfect,” which is hard to achieve, and starts with a type of rice that is probably hard to obtain here). I look forward to returning and letting them earn that 5th star, this is a 4.5 review for now!

Fui aquí el viernes por la noche y yo era el único aquí, pero no sé por qué. Pedí pasta de albóndigas y estaba increíble, las albóndigas eran muy sabrosas y estaban condimentadas a la perfección. La razón por la que le di 4 estrellas es que su pastel de queso estaba horrible, calentado en el microondas con grumos de mermelada de arándanos encima. Definitivamente volveré a probar más de sus platos principales.

This restaurant is known for a consistently ingenious menu del día. What is unique is the large number of options you have at such a low price. The wine list is actually quite extensive and a summit inside shows how well sorted they are. There are only four tables outside and although they are right next to the road, it is still a very pleasant place to sit under the trees. Reserva una mesa ahora

Delicioso italiano. Probamos los entrantes de embutidos. Probamos el risotto mar y tierra y el salmón al vapor lakeado. El salmón estaba cocinado de más, pero a algunas personas les gusta, a nosotros no. El risotto fue una parte hermosa, con buen sabor.

The place was really good when the owner was here, nowadays quality has gone. Carbonara is not well prepared, vegetarian pizza has some black olives (which is good) but some times they don't have it and change it for a bunch of peppers.

Pizza had a thick crust and the tiramisu came in a plastic cup. Pasta was okay. The service is extremely good. Would not recommend if you are looking for high quality Italian food.
