The customer service at this restaurant was terrible. I booked Christmas dinner for my family on the 16th of October through the website, selecting the 4pm slot and receiving an email confirmation. When I went to pay the deposit today, I was met by an angry manager named Craig who rudely informed me that the 4pm slots were not available without offering an explanation. He even went on to say that his staff should not be expected to stay on to serve us. Despite having a booking confirmation, Craig insisted that it was a system error and banned me from the restaurant, telling me to go back to my dogs. I was simply trying to ask why I wasn't notified earlier about this issue. It turns out that...
Ordered the cheese fondue as a starter and was displeased with what I had received, you’d expect a nice runny cheese to dip your bread in but received the opposite. The cheese had solidified and the bread was under toasted and very little effort had been made to make the dish look appealing. Ordered their festive menu chicken burger for mains and was also underwhelmed by this too, the bun wasn’t toasted and the chicken patty was tasteless. There was an extremely small amount of cheese in the burger. On the other hand, the staff were attentive and the restaurant was clean and the ambience was good. Typical chain restaurant visit.
We had a fantastic family meal at this restaurant. It was extremely busy and we were grateful that we had made a reservation. Our waitress, Emily, provided excellent service, as did the rest of the staff. The kitchen team did a great job as the food was being served quickly. Our meals were hot and beautifully presented. We would highly recommend this Beefeater restaurant. Thank you to all the staff, we will definitely be returning soon. P.S. Please consider adding jacket potatoes back to the menu.
I never have a bad experience at this restaurant. I went for a Christmas meal with a friend today and had the turkey roast, which was delicious. I wasn't planning on getting dessert, but the options were too good to resist, especially considering the affordable price of less than £20. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and they didn't mind when I asked for a small change to the menu. I will definitely be returning.

A lovely family get together. I have never seen it so busy. Some of us had festive menu some the regular. The food was well presented, hot tasty. We expected a wait as it was so busy but not at all, a massive well done to the kitchen t team keep up the good work we’ll be back soon.
Popped in after a long day shopping. Welcome was warm and waiting staff very attentive, even with a large table next to us to look after. Food was delicious, far better than we were expecting when we stopped by and for the price we paid. Well done!
Staying at premier inn for a family birthday/get together Charlie our server was fabulous friendly and helpful Shout out to Ben who cooked our steaks to perfection and the lasagne was lovely too
First time here , meeting up with an old friend made very welcome, Food served hot well cooked and the service we had from Charlie was very attentive thank you Charlie.

This is the perfect half way stop for us. The staff are so helpful and friendly. In particular Tammy was brilliant this evening. The quality of the food was excellent
