Travellers Rest - Reserva de mesa

Cannot write a proper review because after calling in to the travellers rest today about 1pm for some lunch, we found the place closed after passing a number of times this year when ther appeared to be plenty of custom mid afternoon. We did not notice any notice of the situation after taking the trouble to travel there. Not very impressed with the lack of communication for the benefit of passing trade. We have decided not to try anymore times just to be met with this situation again.

This is an absolute great pub ,food ,atmosphere ,very nice and clean and the staff go above and beyond ,we went in to watch fa cup final had home made pizza and chips ,once match finished everyone was offered complimentary ice cream cone with choice of flavours ,nice touch to finish off a great day ,going bak on Sunday for roast dinner ,well done to all the team great job well done .

Amazing freshly cooked food, served on a hot plate. Halloumi burger and fries was nicely presented and tasted great. Coffee was lovely and it was nice that it was really hot and not luke warm as in lots of places. Great service, lovely chatty staff.

We came here for steak night and wow the quality of the food was amazing. It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond by leaving us a Toblerone bar with “happy anniversary” on it. I can not fault this place at all. Amazing. Reserva una mesa ahora

Just had a lovely meal here after a nice little visit to the antique's place not far from the pub. Service was great, really friendly staff, good selection of beers and good fresh food no chicken nuggets though !!

Lovely pub with a friendly and welcoming host. The draft ales were extremely well looked after and were delicious. The meals were amazing! It says homemade and you can tell it is. Can't wait to go again.

Lovely little place to eat and drink. Mike served us and he was so polite and professional. Really do recommend it and the food.

The food was terrible. None of the three of us were satisfied with our meals. We should have returned them.
