Superb! The venue is simply superb! I am a coeliac, their menus was really good and catered for Gluten Free, as well as Vegan and vegetarian. The pub was thriving, we went on Saturday and stayed the night at the BEAUTIFUL rooms they have available. The atmosphere in the pub was amazing, all the locals (many of which have invested in the pub to keep it open) were super friendly. It’s also dog friendly. The decor is beautiful, it’s got a HUGE selection of beers, wines and spirits including a GF beer on tap. The area is great for walking and it’s only about a 20 minute drive from the beautiful historic village of Haworth. 100% we will be back. Thanks for a great stay!

We visited the pub hoping for a quick lunch on a Saturday at 1:30 to be told they don’t do sandwiches at weekends. We ordered coffee and a regular coke and soup and loaded chips. The coke was returned as it was diet. After 40 minutes we asked where our food was. The soup came 3 minutes later followed 5 minutes after that by the chips. The staff seemed to need more training and there was no manager working. We asked to speak to a manager to provide feedback and he appeared after 10 minutes and apologised. As a local resident and shareholder I was disappointed by the whole experience and it will be a long time before I visit again.

We thought we would give this pub another go since changing hands again however, another disappointing visit. We ordered our first drinks at the bar after waiting 20mins from being seated. We waited 1hr 15mins for two meals, in that time we weren’t once asked if we would like another drink. Once we eventually got our food it was lacking in flavour and quality. We asked for some sauce which we were then told when finishing the meal, ‘sorry he forgot to heat it’. All round pretty poor, which is disappointing as this is our local. Poor service and poor food.

We had the wild mushroom starter which was great. The main meal was supposed to be cheese and onion pie but it wasn’t even recognisable, lots of sloppy filling and a bit of crust edge floating on it. The chips were very dark and not nice and the mushy peas were almost cold. My husband’s steak pie meal was cold and was sent back. It was very disappointing for us as this is a local pub and we have been put off eating here now. Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice busy pub ,good atmosphere, booked a table for 6.30 pm but did not get our food for a hour ,was offered a free drink for the delay .staff who served our table were great once the food came 2 meals were good but the cheese and onion pie was awful ,the garlic mushrooms were delicious but would be better served with nice granary bread instead of white bread ,the black pudding stack was delicious.

A spur of moment decision and we ended up here in Trawden. A lovely, warmly welcoming location with a wonderful mein host in charge of the pub. Really lovely accommodation in a separate building next door. On the edge of wide countryside and as a result. beautiful views and wildlife in the woods and stream adjacent to the pub. Food, beer and staff were great. I wish we had booked a week.

I booked the Trawden arms for my husbands Birthday, a large group of us (26) pre ordered a couple of days before. The food was amazing and all arrived at the same time, staff were friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable and everyone enjoyed their meal. We were pleased to find out that Thursday free desert with every main meal

Really disappointed with the food. Basic hot sandwiches were overpriced for what they were. The burger was undercooked and once again overpriced. For the prices charged we expected something a little bit special. We won't be coming back. The staff werel ovely and the pub inside felt welcoming. A big shame about the food. A wonderful place, in beautiful surroundings. We ate an evening meal in the restaurant as well as breakfast, both were delicious. We had such a warm welcome from all staff and our room was super clean and fresh. Definitely recommend and we'll certainly be back when next in the area. Absolutely loved it.

Delicious food and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We will be back thank you. The chicken burger and the rawhide burger were really tasty and well cooked. Our little boy had chicken goujons, they were yummy, proper chicken. Fantastic all round.
