Accommodated a group sans reservation. Was given a high degree of attention from Abby and her cohort, it understandably dwindled as the dining room filled. Consistent kitchen and wait times. Bread was authentic and salubrious, portion left room for food. Sampled from 4 dishes, all prepared to an encyclopedic level of precision with herbs picked in house. The portions are small ! for America, but cater to authenticity. Moderately high ! noise level. Setting is otherwise intimate. Bring your own wine. Wonderful Italian restaurant. We had a nice date night at Tres Scalini. Like many restaurants in the area, it sits in what appears to be an old converted home. They did a good job with the layout of the space and tables have enough separation to make the dining experience feel intimate. It is a BYOB establishment so pairing is on you. The food is phenomenal. Very nice pasta dishes at a reasonable price. Service was also top notch, the waitress was able to give us good input on multiple dishes and helped us decide between the many options we were considering. The food is fantastic. Best steak I've eaten in the Lehigh Valley. If you like fresh pasta this is your place and pasta Verde is your dish. Tre Scalini is reservation only so if you want to dine here on a Saturday make the call a month in advance. You won't be disappointed.
