Tres Palms was highly recommended by friends who had been there. It has a sea side vibe and casual atmosphere. The menu pricing, however, is commensurate with a more upscale restaurant. The seared tuna dish, one of their specialties, had a lovely presentation and was delicious. The salmon dish was overcooked to the point of dried out. It was replaced with an undercooked salmon piece that was raw in the middle. The sauce that accompanied the dish was cold, as was the orzo. Not a good pick at all. The food came out very quickly, too quickly to be freshly prepared. I won't be going back.
well, I had the garnel and zucchini with linquine. first the zucchini could be cooked longer. the dish otherwise was delicious. now my man had the filled fuke. what was it? the fuke he said well...but then you put it on sweet potato, with bok choy and a lobster sauce. too many flavors...then... Eating... Chinese not so good.
Maybe it just wasn't our type of dinner date spot, but $52 for a quesadilla with chicken as an appetizer and a bowl of chili with 10 nachos is way over priced. We didn't even make it to dinner we just ate the appetizers and left.
my man and I sat there patiently with my children 30 minutes and no one has recognized our existence, so we rose and went. we were all super disappointed. I would never go back.

Had friends out from the city and took the boat to lunch. Easy docking, great food and drinks, beautiful weather and view. All around terrific time.
