That should have been my first warning sign to leave. After waiting an additional 20 minutes—despite only having three cars in front of me—I finally reached the window. I was ready with my payment, paid, and then was left waiting again. After another ten minutes, I had to ask someone passing by if my order was being prepared. The new spot is situated in the Brambleton area, and I quickly placed my order online before following the directions to the store. On my way back from a visit in Chantilly, I wanted to pick up my daily smoothie from Tropical Smoothie and wanted to find a location close by on my return to Ashburn. Fortunately a new location popped up in the Brambleton area and I quickly orderedonline and then followed directions to the location. I'm currently sitting in the drive-thru and it's been 35 minutes with just three cars ahead of me. Inside, I see six employees, but only three of them seem to be working hard to get things moving. The three guys, including one who appears to be the manager, were doing absolutely nothing when I went in. Whoever is in charge needs to pay attention to the situation at this location. Tropical Smoothie, you need to improve; I won't be coming back here until this issue is addressed. I'm a local resident, and it's disappointing.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, thanks to an employee named Edgar. He was incredibly kind and made me what I can only describe as the perfect island punch. He took my order with great care and displayed excellent manners. Not only was he understanding, but he also prepared my smoothie quickly while managing multiple tasks. I really believe he deserves something special for his outstanding service—he truly is a gem!
This place is shaping up nicely! Although they've just opened, it's in a fantastic and convenient location. I visit about once a week, and one of the owners (I think) took a moment to chat with me because he noticed my regular visits. He thanked me for being a loyal customer, and I truly appreciated that kind gesture. Welcome to the community! We look forward to seeing this establishment thrive!
The staff was friendly, but I suspect this is typical for the entire chain. The smoothies here don't seem to be made from fresh fruit—they taste better when I make them myself at home with fresh ingredients using a basic blender.

Extremely long wait time at drive through ordered Açaí bowl 20+ mins and still waiting as I write this review. No one else in drive through and inside looks empty.
