The manager is very sweet and tried to replace the smoothie if it is bad. but if you look through the reviews they frequently have bad smoothies. After having one bad smoothie today (the third time this has happened) I was offered a replacement that was just as bad. And then I was refused my refund.Luckily it was only $5 because of happy hour. But it’s still upsetting that’s this keeps happening and I to have to throw away money because the smoothie I received was inedible. While waiting for my food, I noticed a leak from the ceiling that dripped right onto my meal. I informed a man whose name I can't remember, but he seemed quite unhelpful. After he saw how upset I was, they moved the food station just a tiny bit, about half a centimeter. He then started sweating and singing a catchy song. I’m giving it two stars solely because of that song. My life is dedicated to serving Christ.
Worked there since October, constantly got harassed by the managers there for the color of my skin. Yes the owners and managers of this location are racist. After telling the owners there one of the assistant managers told me “you’re just here cuz you’re white it’s for racial intergration, that’s what your job is” she did absolutely nothing. If you want to be treated like a human DO NOT come to this location
I command this place very often and have not even regretted my choice. the smoothies are delicious and fresh as well as eating. the smoothies are quite perfected. the personal is also very nice. prices can be at the top end, but taste and quality make it. if they are looking for a place to buy a delicious smoothie without a doubt from tropical smoothie cafe!

Ordered a three cheese quesadilla for takeout and when I got home and opened up the box it's literally a kids meal portion. I paid $16 for garbage. The quesadilla is smaller than the width of a napkin... The smoothies are good but don't waste your money on buying the food unless you want to eat like a baby. See pictures

PLACE IS STRAIGHT HEAT BRO! Amazing customer service, fast orders and nonetheless, AMAZING FOOD. I come twice a week for smoothies and sometimes a meal and they come in hand all the time. 5 stars tj my friends at tropical cafe in Franklin square
My daughter recently worked at this restaurant, and I was shocked to discover that their smoothies are 80% ice and lack real flavor. They don't contain any fresh fruit. For such an expensive item, it was disappointing.

Best smoothie place on Long-Island. Staff is always nice, store is very clean, food and smoothies taste great.
The smoothie was delicious, and the salad was great as well. The space was clean and spacious.
