At first, I went to the counter and the guy was meh. Nick was his name I think. But as the transaction progressed, I could tell he was really passionate about working at tropical smoothie cafe. I asked for a regular flavored cookie and he said I had to choose chocolate chip or snickerdoodle. Initially, I refused to accept that. I called nick the B word. Nick was professional though, he calmed me down an explained to me that the chocolate chip cookies were ?pretty fire?, so I took a leap of faith and tried one. I?ll never regret it. Overall, my trip to tropical smoothie cafe was an emotional rollercoaster but I?d do it all over again. Best smoothie joint in southeast Rockledge.
I've been coming to this place for years, and I really try to avoid it now. I always request no chicken in my quesadilla, but I still receive chicken. I also find random ingredients like beans and lettuce mixed in. My boyfriend ordered once and specifically asked for no lettuce, but when he opened the box, it was packed with extra lettuce and barely any actual fillings. I've had to ask them multiple times to remake my smoothie or food because they keep getting it wrong. It's extremely disappointing, especially since none of the other Tropical Smoothie locations have these issues. I won’t be returning here again.
Every single time I place an order online and pay for my order it is always late, missing food items or made terrible. I can?t even drink my Mocha Madness smoothie because they didn?t blend the ice enough and there?s giant ice chips and it?s crunchy and not smooth. My quesadilla didn?t come with the salad side sauce. That?s just this time. I am not lying when I say it?s every time tho! It?s ridiculous and I wish I could get all my wasted money back. Instead I?ll just never ever eat here again. Thanks for nothing.
I started trying to place a pickup order at 8:25 and called 4 to 5 times between then and 8:40. Initially, it was busy, but on the subsequent calls, no one answered. I rushed over to the restaurant at 8:50 and saw three employees working. They informed me that they had already thrown away the food. When I inquired if the phone lines were down, they said they weren’t. It seems that the three staff members decided not to take any orders just 30 minutes before closing. This was very disappointing! I recently visited a restaurant in Merritt Island, Florida, and I was impressed by the service. The woman at the counter, Jen, remembered my name and my exact order after just two visits. She took the time to ask about my day and made sure my order was ready promptly. Jen exemplifies the kind of customer service our country needs. In just 30 seconds, she made me feel welcomed and valued. I highly recommend that Jen receive a raise, and I hope her employers recognize her true worth.
Smoothies follow a consistent recipe, making them quick and enjoyable. The service is satisfactory; while it wasn't bad, it also didn't have a particularly friendly touch—certainly a reflection of the changes in service quality since Covid. Overall, it's a decent fast food option.
