My husband and I went 20 minutes before closing and ordered sandwiches. The sandwiches were not cooked at all. Not toasted. The cheese was still shredded cheese and mozzarella pearls. I cannot believe how disappointed we were and how awful they were. There was NO LINE. No one in front of us. The workers cannot blame it on ?being busy? even though that still would not excuse it. I hope the employees are really spoken to. That is absolutely inexcusable. Who knows if they spit in our food or what else they would have put in it. My smoothie when I stick it in comes right out it?s suppose to stay in the straw until. Good company but need to work on service and product knowledge. I guess corporate was there recently at the jfk location. And literally a day after I went in there and I had to tell the person at the front you just don?t stare at me when I walk up and wait for me to order , your suppose to say welcome to tropical smoothie or how can I help you. Everyone is not fir for cashier/host if you don?t know what customer service is. So I wanted for the other guy to ask home a question before I ordered. Great place but needs better customer service.
When did Tropical Smoothie start offering smoothies in different cup sizes? I ordered two meals and two smoothies. They placed my smoothies in a cup holder and packed them along with my food in bags. When I got home, I noticed that one smoothie was in the regular-sized cup that typically comes with the large order, but the second one was in a small cup, even though I was charged the same price as a large smoothie. Does that make any sense?
Ordered the Smoky Grilled Cheese, and the sandwich was neither smokey or grilled?. at least there were cheeses. Unmelted, ice cold, cheese. And the bread wasn't even warm. Overall, I would say that I was quite disappointed with what I was served. At least the side of the sun chips was good. The sandwich gets a 0/5, the Sun chips get 5/5.
