Small but perfectly formed in Goodwood. Nice menu and very reasonably priced for this sort of thing. The friendly staff had a table cleared off and us seated quickly. I had a egg and bacon roll which came as a good sized brioche roll filled with salad leaves, enough bacon to make you wonder about the ongoing sustainability of pigs and a fried egg with a sweetish sourish sauce on the top. Filling, delicious and $12. My son had a croissant sourced ( I suspect) from Boulangerie 113 which is about four or five shops down, with raspberry jam. The raspberry jam was from the Yarra Valley, which makes me wonder why not Beerenburg or Spring Gully? Or something else Sth Australian? The croissant was...

This was our first breakfast visit to Trouble & Strife and it was overall a good experience.According to my partner the coffee was really good and so was my Lettuce, Tomato, Bacon & Eggs Sandwich. My orange & lemon juice was also very good. This place is quite small but that's fine with us - it also had an interesting menu so we will return. There is a small outdoor seating area as well where you can bring a pet if need be.The only small negative issue was that they weren't happy to change an order to suit and we were told that they like to stick to the menu. As they had all the ingredients - all they needed to do was to put it together in a different way.Said that, we will be back.

I've been here a few times now. Every time I've come the food has been lovely and nice and healthy too. This time round I got the house beans (+bacon) which had heaps of flavor. I didn't need to add the bacon, I could only eat half the amount on my plate-so big serves! This is a small cafe though and I haven't always been able to get a table when I've come. My coffee tasted a bit weird and I couldn't work out if they'd accidentally given me soy milk (like my friend had ordered) or not. If they didn't, I wouldn't recommend the coffee. If it was soy, I don't like soy! Lol.. The food will take me back again and I'll put my coffee mystery to rest too! Reserva una mesa ahora

I couldn't wait to eat here after following on social media, I have to say I was really disappointed. It's a busy little cafe with not much seating. The furniture was really uncomfortable. I ordered the French toast. It looked spectacular but that's probably as far as it went for me. Was way too sweet and covered in cream. I felt misled as it's marketed as a health cafe. It probably wouldn't be so bad if your into rich pastry kind of foods. The service was friendly and quick and the coffee was really really nice. Would recommend as a short coffee stop but that's as far as it goes for me.

Happy with everything at this little venue! We were lucky to walk in and get a table right away on a Saturday morning without a wait and promptly received a coffee. The staff here were great - friendly, chatty and helpful. Ordered the beans with a side of bacon and it tasted as good as it looks! We will be back!

Really cute cafe in Goodwood. I had the smashed avocado on toast, which came with peas (integrated into the avocado) and creamy feta. Slices of radish and whole mint leaves gave it a fancy touch, although it wasn't quite as tasty as I hoped (maybe needed some more spices or salt?). The coffee was decent too.

The cutest little place in the heart of a busy Goodwood road. So many choices on the menu and fantastic pricing, ending up going with the baked beans on a staff's recommendation which was perfect ???????? Quick service and a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere, will have to be back to try the other meals! Reserva una mesa ahora

Qwerky style cafe with great atmosphere and fabulous coffee. My tastebuds were screaming for more of the french toast with berries and extras. Old favourites eggs had plenty of twists to refresh their appeal. Give this place a try if you like that fresh organic type of style.
