COTC and United Way brought them in for a campaign kick off, but I missed the whole affair because I had class. Luckily I looked out the window, saw the truck and was hungry enough to ask Navin for chicken waffles anyway. I'm so glad I did! He was able to serve me and I enjoyed learning about how this food truck came to be. The chicken was divine smoked and then he flash fries it upon order and that skin was crackling crispy! Huge drumsticks with delicious sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. Even the waffle had homemade flavor and texture that was top notch! Trucking Delicious is an amazing restaurant with fantastic food and staff! I cannot express enough how positive my experience was with them. I hired them for my husband's surprise birthday party and they were outstanding to work with. They were easygoing yet professional, and our guests were very impressed with the quality and variety of the food. Additionally, they were able to use our electricity instead of a loud generator, which was a great bonus. The prices are reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. I highly recommend Trucking Delicious!
The Jerk Chicken Sandwich I tried at Trucking Delicious was not impressive. The chicken was well seasoned but dry and tough, and the bread was too dense. I suggest toasting the bread and thinning out the chicken to improve the sandwich. Adding more slaw and sauce would also help bring moisture back. While the customer service at Navin's was excellent, I may consider eating at Trucking Delicious again, but I won't be ordering the Jerk Chicken Sandwich.
