I write this review that has just finished my brunch because the atmos and the aircon are just sooo zoool in true north that I don't want to go. the interieur is a mixture of art deco inserts, large wooden stands, kooky vintage nods and framed paintings along the side trad tattoo flash and graphic art. there is a touch mexicana kitsch with hot sose bottles along the bar. the staff are friendly and well dressed to match the aesthetics of caffe. I had high expectations based on all the reviews, but unfortunately, this restaurant was a major disappointment. The fried chicken burger we ordered was the only enjoyable part of the meal, but it was supposed to come with beer-battered fries and instead came with stale, overcooked, frozen french fries. Even McDonald's has better fries, which says a lot. The side dishes we ordered – the 'roasted' mushrooms and 'salt and pepper tofu' – were not appetizing at all. The mushrooms seemed pan-fried and the tofu had a strange smell and no seasoning or sauce. When I ordered an iced coffee, I was given an iced chocolate instead. I recently tried the porridge at this restaurant and it was delicious! I appreciate that all items on the menu can be made vegan, vegetarian, or with meat. It's a great spot to visit with friends who have different dietary preferences.
food and service were good. lärm from the coffee is a little loud, but otherwise beautiful ambience./ eating was delicious and with good portions, tho the tacos were just too much filled to easily pick them up to eat.

This restaurant is fantastic! Almost all the dishes on the menu can be made vegan and they are super delicious. The atmosphere of the entire place is great, and I would highly recommend trying the Reuben sandwich.
Anything in the menu can be made vegan. The mushroom porridge congee was so good! Staff are lovely, can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu including their dinner menu.
Staff are nice, ALMOND CROISSANTS ARE VEGAN AND AMAZING, also got the fermental as anything which was great too. Deffs try it pretty much everything can be made vegan.
