I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I've been to a lot of very high-end places in Dallas and the surrounding area, and this was probably the best seafood place I've ever been to in any city. We got there early for a 5:00 p.m. reservation so it was not crowded at all. They had made accommodations for us in advance because to in our party are in their mid-90s, one in a wheelchair. We had the best table in the house upstairs at the corner table with views in two directions. Our server was awesome and always around when needed but never in the way or to chatty. WHAT A LET DOWN DISAPPOINTMENT! We made reservations a month in advance to celebrate our wedding anniversary and to announce with a cake that my husband and I are expecting our first child. When I made the reservation through open table I filled out in the space provided that we have a special request to bring in our announcement/anniversary cake, again an entire month in advance. The EVENING BEFORE our reservation we get a call stating we cannot bring in our anniversary/announcement cake yet the reservation and request had been made so far in advance. Great fine dining! The ambiance is welcoming, our servicer Eric is impeccable, and the menu offers a delightful range of dishes. However, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the chilled crab appetizer. Every time I dine here, it’s a must-order for me. The crab is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served chilled, enhancing its natural sweetness. The presentation is elegant, making it a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Don't miss out on the chilled crab – it’s simply the best!

My friend and I had an outstanding dining experience at Truluck's in Dallas, TX, thanks to our fantastic server, Jaun. I had the Stone Crab Claws, Chilean Seabass sautéed in olive oil and served with steamed broccoli. My friend had the Filet Mignon and side of asparagus along with a glass of cabernet. The food was cooked to perfection, and Jaun's service truly elevated the entire evening. The restaurant manager also stopped by a couple of times to check in, which added a nice touch of personalized service. Highly recommend Truluck's Dallas for an exceptional dining experience! My first time here was my birthday dinner and it was the best experience I've ever had at a restaurant. My meal included the rolls (not pictured), lobster thermidor (again not pictured but so delicious), steak flight, and baked alaska as a special birthday treat! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. I'm also telling everyone I know about this place forever.

We had an excellent meal. Thoroughly enjoyed the salt and pepper calamari, miso seabass and the lobster mashed potatoes. Riley our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely return
