Truluck's Seafood, Steak and Crab House - Austin Arboretum

We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past, but this time we were disappointed with the quality in comparison to the price. The cold water lobster tail was excellent, but the supposed "1/2 lb" of king crab had very little meat and was not fully cracked, making it difficult to enjoy. The steak frites were overcooked as well. The bottle of wine we selected turned sour and was undrinkable by the end of the meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the bartenders were great, but overall the experience did not feel like it justified the high cost.

Service and food were exquisite. One member of our party follows a plant based diet and was easily accommodated. A nice selection of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic cocktails. It did get a bit loud but would happily return and highly recommend

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant for a special occasion happy hour! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. The piano player was excellent and very friendly. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

I would say simply the absolute best seafood in North Austin. I highly recommend Trulucks for any special occasion or when you simply want the best. It's not inexpensive but the quality is absolutely worth it.

This place is truly special. Went for our anniversary and they made every detail perfect. Service over the top, food amazing. Absolutely no complaints, except maybe that it is not closer to home.
