Truly Scrumptious - Reserva de mesa

The staff were not very friendly, but the cakes and tea were good, so we decided to visit again on Friday. Unfortunately, the cafe was closed on a very rainy day. Despite it being peak season, there was no explanation for the closure. Another local cafe mentioned that they do well on cold, wet days, so it is unclear why this cafe chose to close. Additionally, their closing time of 5pm seems to be an exaggeration as they typically start cleaning up around 4pm. A sign should be posted if there is a valid reason for the closure.

My wife was intrigued by the savory tea option, so we decided to visit this restaurant. It was busy when we arrived and the employee informed us grumpily that they were at capacity. However, we decided to wait for a table and eventually one became available. The young waitress who served us was very pleasant. We ordered a savory tea consisting of cheese scone, cheese, and tea, as well as a cream tea. Both options were enjoyable and appropriately sized, although I felt that the scones lacked a homemade touch.

The staff are terrible. We went in and sat next to the door which wad open. Today is showerly and people wering fleece. I closed the door. The ownr came right awsy and closed. I opened again complained it it too cold. The safe said it is too hot for us! What a place! I thought customer is always right. I have 3 layers on me and a rain coat, which I cannot take off in the shop. Coffee is not the best. Cake is served very thin although taste OK. Disappointing no lemon where sells Earl Gray.

Modern interior and very clean with good toilets. Excellent savoury cream tea which I haven’t seen anywhere else before and the ham and cheese panini was also great. Lots of homemade cakes that are good value for money. Friendly staff and hope to come back here next time we’re in Looe. Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited for lunch today. The place is clean and smart. We were greeted well and the service overall was excellent. Our tuna sandwiches were very tasty, and our peanut and chocolate slice roulade were superb! If you're looking for lunch in Looe, look no further!

This is a great place to stop for snack, the place is very clean, modern and the staff are very friendly. Food and prices are excellent and it was nice to be able to have a savoury cream tea. Good selection of cakes . Highly recommended.

I did not feel welcomed at this restaurant. They do not allow dogs, even if they are very small and clean. I had to wait for a table upstairs, and they were not willing to be flexible about seating me downstairs.

Friendly service and good chocolate beverages. We were provided with a special table as only a certain section is reserved for people with dogs. The Wifi was good enough to do some emailing and browsing. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a lovely looking cafe but we were surprised to be told our dog wasn't welcome. December with only one other table in, I couldn't understand the logic to send business away.

Ok, the cakes here aren’t homemade (which would be a distinct bonus), but they do look fabulous sat in the window and do draw you in.
