Tryon Public House

We took our annual trip to NYC and chose this place for a late lunch after a day of exploring the Cloisters and Fort Tryon Park. What a terrific place! The food was outstanding and arrived quickly (the goat cheese croquettes are a must! , the beer selection was varied and we made great choices (the Bronx Brewery pale ale was super! , the atmosphere was cheerful and comfortable, and our server was top notch, even coming over to shake our hands as we were leaving and wishing us a good trip back home. Nothing better than a perfect end to a perfect day :

The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out. The prices are reasonable for Manhattan, but the food was only average at best. The short rib I ordered was quite dry, which was disappointing. However, the sour dish I had was absolutely fantastic. Additionally, the place was nearly empty for a Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m., yet it took a long time for the servers to take my order and bring my beer (10 minutes to serve a beer is excessive). Despite these issues, I would be willing to return and see if my experience is different next time.

I’ve been to this restaurant for breakfast/brunch twice so far. The first time, I ordered the eggs Benedict with avocado, but I didn’t enjoy it because I encountered some parts of raw egg white. On my second visit, the chef and waitress were really kind and substituted the chicken in the chicken and waffles with vegetarian tenders for me. While I’m not particularly impressed by the food, I do love the atmosphere and the music they play here! I still want to try dinner at this place!

The restaurant was quite nice. There was plenty of food, which was a plus. The only drawback was that the table for three people was a bit small, and the waitress didn’t seem to notice that. Other than that, both the service and the food were excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere to chat and enjoy some drinks. I absolutely love the friendly staff and the family-like atmosphere during the day! The food is excellent—I’ve never had a complaint. The wings are fantastic, and the burgers are amazing, too. But what I appreciate most is the wide selection of beers, both on draft and in bottles. I always leave happy after my visits! Thank you, and keep up the great work!

Chose Tryon Public House to host a surprise 60th birthday party for my father. They were extremely helpful and accommodating from the planning phase up to the actual day. The venue itself great, the service, outstanding, and the food was amazing. Shoutouts to the owner, Niall, and the manager Abe, for all of their help.

Great service. Mules were tasty. I had the chicken sandwich and OMG it was delicious! I was still thinking about it the day after. My friend really enjoyed her salad with the herbs and honey dressing. I'd go back just because the food was amazing! Everything was affordable too, not crazy expensive.

During the Blizzard of 2016, I found myself snowed in at the pub, and it was the perfect place to be. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. I opted for sangria, which was just right. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you! Reserva una mesa ahora

Amazing food, lunch, brunch, beer selections, and great atmosphere! The staff is attentive, kind, friendly and treat you like family. The prices are also reasonable. The atmosphere is out of this world and I'm addicted to Tryon Public!!
