Used to be good, not anymore. I would try my luck around the corner at another sushi spot. By far the worst lunch time experience I’ve had downtown over the last three years. We waited over an hour for our chicken hibachi lunch(chicken rice and vegetables). It was not busy at all and it seemed like there was some miscommunication between the staff as we were asked by two different individuals for both food and drink orders. Unsure of what the issue was but we ended up having to have our food bagged up as our entire lunch time was over. It started off with being the coldest restaurant I have ever been in. I don’t know what the deal was but if everyone has on a sweater that should be a sign in SC. Secondly, I’m not sure if this is hibachi or someone playing on a flattop grill. I ordered the ribeye hibachi lunch special to-go Friday 5/31. It was literally unseasoned “fried” rice, the ribeye was chewy and tough and the vegetables all over cooked and soggy.

I have frequented this place for over 20 years. In fact probably 15 years ago, I ate here weekly. Approximately monthly probably after the initial pandemic and in the last couple years, it gradually has become worse service wise and quality of food wise, for sure. I ate here this evening and the food was terrible! Will not be returning almost $80 later!

Best sushi in town. We tried other places (too remain nameless) and not so good horrible food quality). Service is great, too. Friendly staff. Location is just off the beaten path. I am not sure there is a bad item on the menu. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. Reserva una mesa ahora

My friend and I recently visited Tsunami Restaurant for the first time, and we were very impressed. The food was really good, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. We had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I’ve been coming here since 2014. The best sushi spot in downtown. The rolls are unique and they have so many options that you will find something for you. One of the main jewels in the crown of Greenville.
