"This little restaurant is like stepping into your great grandmother's parlour. It's so pretty and cute with the lovely chandeliers and old fashioned furniture. What an amazing find. The food, which you can see being cooked, is beautiful. Highly recommended."

I'm a typical British bloke looking for good food ....up until now this holiday has resulted in me feeling like I'm starving, I'd even given up on finding a decent breakfast .... This restaurant was a god send, the staff were amazing, we turned up half hour before opening time when they were literally just turning the alarm off and were greeted with smiles and an abundance of customer service, we were offered seats of our choice and were even allowed to mix and match from the menu (basically i asked what size the portions were and wanted a little more so added a portion of veg/spinach) I can honestly say that was THE best steak I've ever had Wish I'd found it sooner

Visited this restaurant nine times in September 2019,the food, service, hospitality and the very high level of consistency made the Tucan our only destination to eat in Puerto de la cruz.During this holiday there were two BLACK MONDAYS the Tucan does not open on Mondays. On one of the Mondays we dinned at a tapas bar in Puerto the stakes were very raw, medium a was ordered for both, the starter was a disgrace the only good thing was the Cruz Campo beer. This experience brought home how superb the Tucan is.I have dinned here on many occasions and never had once to complain, this is a nice way to spend a very enjoyable evening.

My wife and I found this restaurant and we went twice, we would have gone three times but it is closed on Mondays and we were leaving on Tuesday. It has been open for twenty five years and we met a couple from Northern Ireland who have been visiting for the last twenty years! It has the charm of a restaurant you would find on the left bank in Paris. You must try the salmon in champagne sauce, as well as the asparagus soup, with the cheese cake being outstanding. My wife had both langastine dishes and the steak was incredible
