Food is excellent good chicken kebabs and proper cod, not coalie or hake substitutes. Chips are always good. It's well worth waiting for. I'm Alvechurch born and bred and the Tudor Rose has always been good. Ownership changes often start a bit wobbly until the new owners work out what the majority like. I'm quite picky with food but these guys have the job sorted.
This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was definitely worth the effort of navigating around road closures to get there. The fish and chips were delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning in the future.
£4.20 for a few cooked potatoes,,,,shocking .... Girl on counter was ok. .But the three goons who stand behind the counter staring at you isnt a good look. ..not a smile ,an hello ,or a thank you ..wont be going again ...

This chip shop is excellent - the friendliest in the area. They make the best fish and chips around, and they even accommodate my request for a gallon of vinegar.
£6.40 for a battered sausage and small chips. We’ve been going here for a few years but won’t be any more, they’ve put prices themselves.
