Tuk Tuk Indian - Reservar una mesa

My son visited from the South over the weekend and we decided on another Indian via the Just Eat app. We ordered 2 x Chicken Tikka Balti currys with egg fried rice, a plain naan bread, a saag aloo and cauliflower baaji side dishes. Firstly the meal itself was delivered well within the hour time slot which was good. However the Chicken Tikka Balti was very watery and there were very few chunks of chicken in it it has to be said. However, it didn't actually taste too bad so that was a plus in our view. Just watery and lacking Chicken! The portions of rice were adequate.,The side dishes and the rices were fine as was the plain naan. The price for what we actually got though was £28-25 ; or over £14 a head delivered. A bit steep in our opinion. We would normally have given the Tuk Tuk a 5 star rating but on this occasion- only average. Sorry Tuk Tuk.

We decided on another Tuk Tuk takeaway when my son came up to visit recently. We ordered via the Just Eat website 2 x Chicken Tikka Balti curries with pillau rice,2 x Naan breads, and 4 pappadoms. No side dishes this time. The meal was delivered to our front door by a friendly gentleman well within the stated 1 hour time slot. It has to be said that the Tuk Tuk do a really delicious curry- particularly their Balti range from their extensive menu. The portions are very generous and 2 full curries and rices will easily stretch to feed 3 people. At a cost of less than £20 it's really good value in our opinion. Highly recommended Tuk Tuk.

Haven 't had such a bad tasteless curry in a very long time. I had a chicken tikka Rogan Josh, not that it turned out to be anything like a Rogan Josh. It had zero taste and was quite cold when I got it, bearing in mind I only live 0.2 miles from the shop. On an alright note, the onion bhajis were ok. Phoned up to check how long my food would be and the man was rude with a 'couldn 't care less ' attitude. Won 't be using Tuk Tuk again.

We enjoy a curry night once a month and normally get our takeaway from Tuk Tuk. Lovely people, nice open kitchen good food. Only down side is the lack of chicken meat in the main dishes which is a let down for the price!
