I was truly disappointed with this place. It has been renovated and has a very nice bright interior with blue and white decor. I can only comment on what we ordered so my comments are limited to my opinion. It took about 15-20 minutes for us to have anyone ask us for a drink order. I’m not sure if it was that they were understaffed or a shift change but it was too long. We ordered a margarita, stuffed mushrooms, onion rings, broiled scrod, and two fried butterflied shrimp platters. The sides included cole slaw, baked potatoes, French fries, and pickled beets. The onion rings came with the whole order and were lukewarm. The mushrooms were ok. The scrod was pre-frozen tasting (not 100% certain...

Believe it or not, I was living in the western part of town for 13 years, and this was my first time dining here. It turned out to be a decent experience. I've come across a lot of mixed reviews, but in my opinion, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Our waitress, Patty, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even though we were the last customers of the night. She mentioned she's been working there since the '80s. I was truly disappointed in the seafood combo with the fish, shrimp, scallops, calamari and fries. The batter on the shrimp was so thick and the shrimp taste like it was old and overcooked. The fish had ZERO flavor. The fries tasted awful it really needed salt or something. Lastly the cocktail sauce tasted like WATERED DOWN TOMATO SAUCE! The scallops and calamari were the only decent things. I usually don't complain about food but this was bad. If it wasn't raining so hard I would've drove back and asked for refund or something. I paid way too much for awful food.

So disapointed with Turks. Once good but they lost their shine! Platter of onion rings may have been the worst I ever had. No rings, just pieces. Plate of fried crumbs...shameful! Whole Belly 's were mediocre at best. Again, more pieces of clams with an occasional full whole belly and lacking their sweat taste. Once a landmark in West Haven and Savin Rock now a very distant memory of what it once was. Do yourself a favor and try Jimmies across the street. I ordered a combo platter with shrimp scallop and clam strips. It was awful. The clam strips had a very awkward smell and they tasted blah. For 36.00 dollars the portion resembled a lunch special. You got me this time...I had to dumped it all in the garbage. It's not the same place that I used to love coming to for some good sea food.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here but recently ordered twice. Had clam bellies the first time and calamari next. I didn’t really like the bellies. If they’re not really good then what’s the point right. The squid was better but not great. I’m sure we will order again though but will try another option to see what’s good. :

09/08/22. return. good meal. good service. 5/1/22. I haven't even updated it. restaurant has been updated and looks good. clean. eating seems better than it was. they miss neil and eddy. good people. 2020 ok. better than ed and neil it ran. a little dated. Eat is good. but it was better.

I had the best crispy fries I've ever tasted at this restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I took my family, who were visiting from Tennessee and Colorado, to enjoy some great seafood, and they loved it! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was great, although a bit pricey. The staff was friendly, and the waitress was polite. My only complaint is the time it took to receive the main meal; the appetizer arrived quickly, but everything else took a while.

It was a small portion but good flavor. I'm use to going to city island for seafood and they serve you big plates. Even do it was a small portion it had lots of flavor. I would recommend this place. Nice environment
