I give this charming Turkish restaurant a perfect five-star rating! The staff was quick to seat us and very friendly. Our food arrived promptly after we ordered, and I must say, it was seasoned perfectly and incredibly tasty. We had the lentil soup, some hummus, and a pide, all of which were fantastic. For dessert, we indulged in the coffee cake and took some baklava to go. Everything was authentically made and fresh. They offer floor seating as well as outdoor seating, which is a nice touch. The menu is diverse, with plenty of vegetarian options available. This is a great spot for a date night! I can’t wait to return soon.

This was incredible! I can't believe how great this place turned out to be! I highly recommend visiting the Turkuaz Cafe on your next trip to Bloomington. I should mention that parking can be a bit tricky, but it's definitely worth it! We chose to sit in their cozy floor area. The food was outstanding! We ordered one appetizer, one main dish, and dessert—though I can't recall the exact names. The main dish was on the smaller side, but it turned out to be just right since we also had an appetizer and tiramisu for dessert.

a) The lentil soup was perfect for a chilly fall evening. b) The hummus starter is a must-try. c) The pides put traditional pizza to shame. d) The Turkuaz kebab, specifically the eggplant beef, was SO GOOD! It’s not really a kebab as we typically think of it; it’s more like a stew served in a little ceramic pot, accompanied by seasoned white rice. We drive down from Indianapolis every few weeks to enjoy the food scene at IU, and Turkuaz is definitely going to be a regular stop for us now!

I enjoyed coming here. I liked how they plated the food and the salad and lentil soup were tasty! I felt like the stew was a little greasy for my liking but altogether the meal was nice. I also thought maybe the baklava was a tad pricey so we didn't end up ordering it. In regards to the ambiance, they have a carpeted area which is nice and comfy looking! Everyone was so kind and checked up on us from time to time. This is a nice place to come to for Turkish food. Reserva una mesa ahora

This was undoubtedly some of the best food I've ever experienced. The red lentil soup, in particular, was incredible. The staff was friendly and attentive, making for a thoroughly enjoyable meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I live out of town, and if I could, I would relocate just for this food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
