We were originally planning to go somewhere else near Walthamstow, but Turtle Bay caught our attention on the way to our destination, and we were glad we stopped in. I am a stickler for restaurants with great interior design, and Turtle Bay excels in this area. Now on to the most important aspects: the food quality and price - in my opinion, they excel in both categories. The lunch menus offer two courses for £13 and three courses for £15, making it a perfect option for a budget-friendly lunch. Additionally, the drinks and other dishes are reasonably priced. We ordered the Boxing Garnel and Curry Garn from the a la carte menu, and Jerk Box Wing and Brown Chicken Stew from the set lunch menu....

My experience at this restaurant was quite traumatic and it will be my first and last visit to this location. Initially, we were seated at a very cramped table right next to the kitchen, making it hot and uncomfortable. Despite making a reservation in advance, we had to request to move to a larger table. Our drinks were promptly delivered, but when our starters finally arrived, they were ice cold and had to be reheated. We also ordered food to go, but after waiting 30 minutes we were told that certain items were out of stock. After re-ordering, we waited an additional hour for our food. The server was unhelpful, grumpy, and lacked communication skills, only offering grunts and mumbled respon...

Came here for my birthday for a bottomless brunch. Absolutely loved it. The customer service was perfect. Normally, people are hesitant to be around when bringing bottomless drinks or it’s hard to grab someone’s attention. Having worked in hospitality myself, I know they put a lot of effort in which is highly appreciated. Made my day. Had about 10 cocktails each and left perfectly tipsy. The food was pretty decent as well. Don’t have expectations that it’s coming from a Jamaican grandmothers kitchen but more that the flavours are subtle to fit everyone’s tastebuds. Will definitely be back again soon.

Turtle Bay provides a chance to have good drinks and good food for a decent price. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately when I went they some items on the menu where unavailable, which were the ones I wanted, so I went with the staff recommendation of the katsu Curry. It was good but not the curry goat I had wanted. The cocktails where stronger than other locations and not watered down. Last week I treated my friend to a meal at this restaurant. It was absolutely fabulous! My friend and I had 3 delicious Cocktails. My friend had a vegan dish which she said was fantastic as was mine of ribs with the best rice and peas I have ever tasted. We finshed the meal with delicous coffee and banana cheescake. The staff were lovely and the service was great and to top it off it was very good value for money. I would highly recommend you vist this restaurant. I will definitely be going again.

Went there for bottomless brunch and the drinks were AMAZING! They're entire cocktail menu is included which no other restaurants do. The only down side is that it takes about 15 minutes for each cocktail to arrive, so you might not get your moneys worth, they do however, allow you to make a last order 15 minutes before your slot is over. The food is okay. Turtle bay isn't known for great food, so my expectations weren't high. I would go there again

The staff at this restaurant is lovely and the atmosphere is pleasant. The cocktails are also well-made. Unfortunately, they did not have wine glasses available so we initially couldn't order wine. However, the bartender, Animesh, was very kind and got us wine glasses. In the end, we decided to stick with cocktails and the bartender was helpful in recommending a delicious one for us. Overall, a great experience with friendly and knowledgeable staff.

great for a chain. my experience with Caribbean foods is limited, so I don't know how it compares with others. we were impressed by the number of dinner options (5 net and some pages) the breakfast menu had 3 vegan options. the food was tasteful and spicy. we had the sweet icy roti roll and the idiot tofu with kokosreis. the packaging was our favorite, I would just go back for it. This restaurant is wonderful! Our waitress, Leah, was amazing. She is extremely friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed chatting with her. We will definitely be returning to this place because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I feel right at home here now!

I would go back there if nothing else is around, but not necessarily serious about it. good, but not excellent
