The service was great. The menu and intention of the food was great, pasta made in house and other things done right. The food was not fresh though. The bread was stale, more stale than a week old loaf I have at home. You have an oven for pizza you canmake fresh bread. The pasta was dry as if it was made too early and then reheated. The cheese in the ravioli was dry and dense.The duck was tough while still being cooked rare (perhaps it was thawed by microwave to order) and the blueberry sauce lackedflavor and was very runny. The mashed potatoes were dry and had no flavor, no herbs, overmashed. Somehow the quality ofseasoning suggested by the menu did not make it into the final product. The lemon sorbet was a lemon Italian ice in a hollowedout lemon peel, described as a lemon shell. I was expecting a softer sorbet with an edible lemon shell, it was a bit strange butrefreshing. Clearly they care about providing a good offering but perhaps they are ordering too much food and making too muchahead of time. The place only had 3 or 4 tables with guests and it was very loud. It could help to add acoustic dampening tothe walls.
