What an amazing restaurant! We had heard that Twelve Eatery was worth visiting but I was sceptical about an all-vegan menu. How wrong I was! A fantastic evening from start to finish. Delicious cocktails to start followed by the highly rated pan seared king oyster 'scallops '. For our main meals we had the Mediterranean raw lasagna which is served cold but has incredible flavours and the roast 'chicken pie ' with seasonal vegetables. For dessert it was a no-brainer to go for the dulcet de leche cheese cake which lived up to the heady expectations we had read about in reviews. Walking into Twelve we were struck by the ambient music coupled with a low rumble of chatter and strong silence coming from the kitchen except for the chefs prepearing the food. The front of house staff were very perceptive greeting parties at the door, walking us through the menu and answering any questions we had in a way that shows care. The food was surreal at times leaving us wondering wether what we were eating was in fact vegan. Could not recommend this place enough! Amazing vegan organic restaurant. Great design and the best desserts in Bournemouth! The nut roast came with all the trimmings, very tasty and aromatic. The Dolce de Leche cheesecake was the best cheesecake ever! My friend had the berry crumble which was also amazing! Incredible food with knowledgeable staff to give insight into what was on the menu. Miami vibe interior clashed a bit with the rainy autumn weather but can imagine it being amazing in summer. Went here for my 40th. The staff and atmosphere were lovely. The food is great. The only reason for the 4 stars was the waiter messed up the starter, then asked if my husband wanted another wine with his dinner and he said yes but the wine never arrived, but it was put on the bill. Wow! I was expecting the food to be good but it surpassed good. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff very attentive and friendly. We will be returning.
