I normally would not leave a bad review for this type of situation but management handled our situation so badly it’s worth mentioning. We ordered the tuna ceviche, The first bite made it very obvious the fish was not fresh, it was aweful. I know my fish, this one was bad! I respectfully told the waitress we’d like tor return the fish, She says « let me call my manager » The manager comes, we explain, he answers « the fish is fresh, if you don’t like the dish just say it, but don’t say it’s not fresh » We insist it’s not fresh, we won’t eat it. He leaves. At this point the owner comes, or another manager. Same speech and he even adds « if the tuna was not fresh it would be brown » Ummm okkkkkk!?!? Anyways long story short we return the dish which btw is FULL uneaten. The rest of the tapas were good, no complaints. End ot the night we get the bill they charged the $30 for it. To us that was handled poorly, the scene was unnecessary and the charge was very unprofessional. We go to exit the restaurant and a couple near the door says excuse me… They ask if we had a problem with one of the dishes. We say yes. They say « was it the tuna? » Yes « We returned ours as well, it tasted so fishy and aweful, but when the manager came we asked if anyone else returned the tuna this even and they said no » That says it all. To the restaurant owner: Had you not charged us or embarrassed us we would not have left this review, we understand that maybe the fish huy sold you unfresh fish, it happens, but the problem is the way you handled it. It was embarrassing, unprofessional and honestly unethical. So based on all this, I would not recommend this restaurant.
