Twistee Treat Valrico

My family and I frequent this Twistee Treat often, as it is close to our home and we have always had an awesome experience whenever we need to swing by for sweet treats. Recently, we?ve really gotten frustrated with this location as they?ve messed our order up 3 different times in the last few visits we?ve made. The first time, we were pressed for time and were unable to go back for them to fix it, so my sister just ate the ice cream as-is, and we just chocked it upto an honest error. No biggie. The two other occasions, (one being tonight), we made it out onto the road and headed home before we realized they put the wrong toppings on one of our ice creams. Both times, we turned around and went backto get it corrected. While I appreciate that they ?make it right? by remaking the ice cream, it?s still frustrating that we?ve got to waste more time turning back around, and by the time we get home our other ice creams are melted. Themost disappointing part isn?t even the errors and having to go back, its that when you ask for EXTRA toppings (that they charge you .99cent per extra topping for btw) they do not give you EXTRA. If we?re paying .99cent on a 3 ice cream,we expect to have sufficient toppings! I?m not sure if there?s been a change in management recently but this location has really been missing the mark, and they seem to be run by only teenagers who care more about talking amongst eachother than making the correct orders. I?ve been a loyal patron and a rewards member for the last 3 years and I?m sad to say that they will no longer be getting my business. I?ll be going to Coldstone where yeah the price may be a littlebit more but they never stiff us on toppings and always get it right the first time. I guess you get what you pay for.

The ice cream is mediocre. The offerings sound great but they cannot do everything on the menu. We ordered and paid for a dipped ice cream cone, which they could not do. We had to ask for a refund and the staff acted like it was an inconvenience and gave us 3 Quarters instead of the .99+tax we paid and rushed away before we could correct him. We asked for a lid multiple times and kept getting cups instead. They were not busy, which sometimes excuses poor customerservice. This place has the worst customer service we've experienced in a while. Toppers and Cold stone have better ice cream and much better customer service

My husband and I are sad to have to write this review. However 3 different occasions we took our normal trip to Twistee Treat on a Sunday and although there hours are 10:30 pm they close at 10 pm (or tell you they or only taking cash). If you happen to make it and it?s 30 minutes until closing be prepared, the rude girl with the red hair will tell you they are out of mostly anything you ask for that?s a dip. I?ve had the pleasure of having her service twice. Bottom line wehave to report that we have to find our new favorite actually location in that side and that?s because we truly looked this place!

I asked for a new ice cream because the ice cream they handed me had a long blonde hair on it. I asked for an additional topping. they handed me back the same ice cream and gave me the additional topping on the side as if I wasn?t going to notice that the ice cream was the same ice cream that had the hair on it. This place needs to be health inspected.

Went the other night for the first time. The banana split was awesome!! Was so good had to go back the next night the vanilla/chocolate cone is just as good!! The workers were top notch too!
