I’m really saddened to hear that the Halsted location has closed down. It was one of my favorite stops on my way to work for coffee and bagels. Unfortunately, the new location is quite out of my way, so I can’t visit as often as I’d like. The owners are so kind and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but their everything bagels are some of the best I’ve ever had—I’m completely hooked! My go-to coffee is the Ice Queen, but honestly, every drink on their menu is fantastic. Plus, they use big cubed ice, which is great for those of us who have specific preferences when it comes to ice types!

I truly hope this restaurant can stay afloat because I’d prefer it over an empty storefront. However, there are definitely areas that need improvement! The prices are quite high, and they still expect tips. With these prices, I would expect the tip to be included. The service leaves much to be desired. For instance, when I asked about the flavors of the scones displayed, the employee aggressively banged on the display while listing them, which felt unnecessary. When I requested clarification because I couldn’t hear over the noise, they seemed annoyed. I strongly recommend reconsidering your hiring standards and adjusting your prices!

This cafe serves incredible coffee, and I believe I've mentioned this in a Google review before, but it's worth repeating. I've embarked on multiple journeys to find the ideal daily coffee, and this spot comes closest to perfection. They roast their own beans, which are carefully chosen to match my taste. It's an absolute must-visit for coffee enthusiasts and discerning coffee lovers alike.

Honestly, what's not to love about this place? It's cozy, there's lots of seating, and the drinks goodies are delicious! Stopped in last Sunday with a few friends and we all truly enjoyed ourselves!

Great coffee. Very nice service. Awesome atmosphere. Reminded me of the coffee shops from back in the 90s when they were places to gather and hangout with good people or a good book.
