Tysons Social Tavern

Terrible experience. The place was empty, the food was cold, and the water had a strong taste of chlorine and fluoride. I had to ask for the same things multiple times, even though my table was the only one there. To make matters worse, the staff was acting unprofessionally; I noticed a busgirl affectionately touching my server's arms right in the middle of the restaurant, which was both disturbing and inappropriate.

Tyson's Social Tavern is a hidden treasure located in the lower level of the Doubletree. The food is fantastic, ranging from tasty bar snacks to satisfying full entrees. Their selection of local beers is impressive and definitely worth a second visit to sample them all. The bartender, Jon, is highly knowledgeable about his wide variety of whiskeys and spirits.

The restaurant is located inside the DoubleTree, and I found it difficult to find. I ordered pasta, but it was quite bland. A colleague who ordered a burger had similar feedback. The hummus wasn't impressive either. I was hoping to try the truffle fries based on recommendations, but it looks like they weren't on the menu.

This place has really declined. The drink prices have increased significantly, and the appetizer portions have shrunk quite a bit. At this point, I probably won't return as it's not worth the expense. Additionally, I just attempted to pay my bill, and they don't accept cash. I've downgraded my review from 2 stars to 1. It is one of those places not everyone knows about. Great Irish bar with good selection of beer and drinks. All the bartenders are good but if you get Michael, you will have a great experience. Best place to go to on a cloudy day or to watch games. Enjoy

Nice lobby, very clean environment overall. Very centrally located to many restaurants and shopping malls. Dedicated underground parking. Good fitness center. My room had a bit of a strange odor but colleagues did not have the same experience.

I probably should have done more research, but I didn’t realize this was in a hotel. It 100% feels like a hotel restaurant, and not the most up to date one. The food was good, though and the server was great.

This restaurant is located in a DoubleTree hotel, which is not made clear when you make your reservation. I found this to be quite disappointing.

I absolutely loved this place and I will definitely be returning. They also organize outdoor events in a lovely secluded area.
