We didn't get into a restaurant, much more, we joined a family at his table! a wonderful moment, and an excellent meal! we were able to taste the charcuterie produced directly on site by the family that occupies the place, a real wonder! the whole meal was excellent and typical and allowed us to taste carefully prepared local products. the atmosphere is indescribable, so the complicity between members of this family is beautiful to see and share. singing, a father and his children, who seem tender and share their passion! We spent an exceptional moment, it is a place to discover absolutely!
Very warm family restaurant. The menu is unique and typically Corsican! For our evening, we tasted a well-stocked cut, family production (possibility of direct purchase). We were then offered gratified brocciu rolls. Then a calf with olives accompanied by polenta. We finished the meal with the sheep's tomme and a fruit cake. The evening was animated by Corsican singers (voix gutar). Everyone sings in the family herself the little girl, ten years old. We left at midnight, but the evening was not over yet. In short, a must during the holidays in Corsica.
a big thank you to the whole family for this stay! Very well in the house, in the charming village of Olivese. Don't miss the dinner: a unique menu of Corsican dishes cooked with the products of the estate. David even offered us a visit to his 4x4 to go see his pigs. Corsican hospitality is not a myth!
