ukiyo suggests genuine Japanese food, mainly on celestial with rice or noodles. it offers several options of ramen, broth and udon served with toppings of their choice. the broth is full of aromas and everything has been cooked to perfection, this is a great experience and the best Japanese food we have tasted. we recommend the wakame seeweed salat and the Japanese curry udon. the traditional deserts are also special, everything has tasted authentic and you can say that every dish is cooked with love and passion. is worth visiting for a real Japanese experience.
Very disappointing food. Creamy udon literally tasted like water mixed with cream it was basically a sweet cream soup with udon. The egg was raw egg white was transparent and completely liquid , the tempura veggies had no taste whatsoever. Cheap looking plates and dishes didnt help either. Unorganized staff. The interior design looked nice thats the only nice thing about the place. Price unjustified. I do not recommend.
there was a good improvement of the rams after changing the chef end of the last year. the vegan non gluten udon is quite tasteful, in contrast to my expectation. their soy base rays are also good, we think it is similar to nagomi ramen, and better than unmindo. They also make good onigiri 6chf ever, we have two going to breakfast. we would recommend ukiyo to our friends.
very nice Japanese restaurant in genf authentic Japanese food for Swiss standards, very friendly and helpful staff. perfect place for lunch. there they can ram, udon and eat some Japanese dishes. they also have a nice mixed starter set perfect if they want to share with friends or colleagues.

One star for the friendly staff, and the other for the ambiance. Otherwise, the food was really not good at all. Ordered an Udon soup, it tasted of mould, and the vegetables were really very old.. Terrible taste.. had only few spoonfuls, couldn't eat further. Dommage..
Le repas était vraiment excellent, chouette ambiance traditionnelle avec les tatamis, super musique, personnel charmant et drôle. C'est la deuxième fois que je viens à l'Ukiyo et j'ai été véritablement conquise les deux fois. <3 Vous me reverrez, soyez-en sûrs. :p
Wanted to retry this ramen after a year because no memory of it. I now remember why. Hot water with noodles. No particular taste. However I will highlight the piece of pork which is generous and the Staff is kind.
good food. happy with the oktopus veggiebällen. ramen broth was a little sweet. but good taste no less. ramen himself was beautiful and made right. is coming back.
