at our recreational holiday in badenweiler we came past this very charming restaurant. the interieur reads us but then rather remember a baked house. old furniture stood everywhere and relicted from past times. it seemed more like the living room of an older man. on the terrace on which we wanted to eat, everything was very thrown together. eating, we had a sweet curry and a sweet pan, was tastefully ok but unfortunately boiled. the map is to our opinion too extensive to be cooked well. we would not go back to this restaurant.
the interieur of this restaurant is made on a day before yesterday, that it can already be cultivated almost again. for example: the bill is given to the guest in a small wooden box, in which a small music box plays the song of the pay. this has charme, though somewhat twisted old-french (or old-fashioned).The dips are not out of the very high kitchen, but well average house-human food. But above all, they are coming to the table quite quickly, and the prices are really moderate.
how did you find this locally at a short trip to badenweiler in a summer book. the facility reminds of grandmothers time but I found it cozy and the wetin was very nice. we were also the first guests of the evening. later it became somewhat more chaotic and we had to wait a little longer for the bill. I chose a cheerful squirrel pot with brush strips! I liked it. resümee: good bourgeois cuisine to fit and exceptional ambiente
Right next to the hotel where I was staying(Eberhardt-Burghardt). It was convenient for me to have dinner. The owner's son-in-law helped me choose a dish although I was not even a very long-stay guest. Soothing ambiance. The owner had recommended Spätzle to me, which I did not try as I had only one meal here. Would love to visit again to try it :)
