"It was an amazing experience. We had the journey menu and the food was delicious we loved it! Staff is a bit slow and it took 2 hours for the full menu, still I would go back! They were lovely!"

Uma is a sensational restaurant serving delicious Peruvian food and offering some interesting South American wines. We had excellent service from Louise, Vanessa, Isabella, and Marco. As it was our first visit we chose the Journey through Peru menu that offers four courses that provide diners with a sampling of the restaurant's food. We had two different ceviches with egg yolk bread and a whipped feta and garlic dip for the first course. Uma exceeded all my expectations. I hosted a very special family event there for the first time, instead of at home, so I was understandably nervous about how everything would turn out. Right from the start, Paula took my reservation, listened attentively, and made notes to ensure we had a wonderful evening. I have brought my very fussy grandmother here for birthday – and have not been disappointed at the least. the selection of the chef ordered and it was superb – $69pp for a very worth it and elaborate menu ft: • 2 species of ceviche wa white fish and prawn. this is the real ceviche peruano btw. with a real, drinkable leche de tigre. and not handed over with sweet potato/ice, the ratio of meeresfrench to other things was generous. • anticucho was a very high version (not quite bark heart and organ that I remember from barranco) super delicate with great smoginess and delicious sauce • alpaca pour well, esp. the sose • lomo salado again, a fine ed version, but with the heart...read more
Amazing! Great place for a special event or for a special night out. The food was delicious. We had 5 dishes and only one of them was 'ok ', with everything else being delicious. The service was great! Really friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Marcos. The place has this amazing decor that makes you feel like you have traveled somewhere. The place is big enough but it feels cozy. And the music is just great Latin track one after the other. Also, the free valet parking service is a nice extra touch. Will definitely go again. love their ceviche! we had the cooking tasting course everything was delicious; for me were the highlights of the shrimp, the brotrolle omg to die for) and that three milk dessert I wish they would be back their a la carte menu! I just want to come back for this dessert, but they can't: no matter, come back! some feedback would be that we were disappointed that we couldn't park there because it was full at that time. while on the website parking was guaranteed before location in the hotel extraordinary service by diego!
What an incredible experience dining at Journey through Peru! Every aspect of the evening was delightful, starting with the friendly valet service. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, though the seating arrangement could be improved. The food was absolutely outstanding. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also bursting with amazing flavors and cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to dine here again in the future!
We received a strong recommendation from friends, including one from Peru, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The produce was beautiful and expertly handled, resulting in incredibly delicious flavors from Peru. Gustavo provided us with excellent service, and we will definitely return. The Journey Menu offered us a wonderful introduction to the flavors, and now we’re excited to try ordering from the à la carte menu.
Absolutely delicious! The food was amazing, we ordered the journey with the chefs specials, particular shout out to the scallops. Staff were super accomodating of our time restraints too, timed everything perfectly. Can’t forget the yummy pisco sours too! Reserva una mesa ahora
