Been a few times and never been disappointed. I usually eat the grilled seafood as an appetizer for two. It's savory and buttery, really good! The scallops are smaller but have a chewy side portion that I really enjoy. The salmon bowl is tasty and not heavy, although it does have a LOT of rice. I usually don't like tuna but the tuna avocado salad is fresh and the flavors work well. I haven't had much luck with their meats. The primary reason to visit Umacanon is to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine at a great price. The food and service are exceptional. They offer over 25 small dishes to share, all of which are delicious. The roasted chicken and sashimi set are excellent, and the fried Shisha fish is the best I've ever had. It's hard to find a restaurant that is both affordable and of such high quality these days. I highly recommend making a reservation!
We arrived at just the right moment, as the restaurant was bustling. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they kindly seated our entire group. The food was fantastic, and we’ll definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu. I highly recommend the beef tongue and the Crunchy Shrimp roll—they were both delicious! And be sure to save room for the green tea cheesecake; it's a must-try!
I really enjoy dining at this restaurant. The staff greets you right away upon arrival, and you receive a warm towel to freshen up your hands. Everyone waiting on us was incredibly friendly. The food was as delicious as I remembered, and the atmosphere was fantastic. There are so many dishes I want to explore. I will definitely be returning!

A really nice Japanese restaurant. The Maguro, grilled Makaro, and the chicken thigh are so delicious. The green tea moji is the dessert most surprise me. I though it will be a hard-chewing feeling, but there is ice cream in it! That is just so good. I will definitely recommend to my friends and I will come back next time.
Liked this izakaya-ish restaurant. You can order lots of small dishes to try. Like that you can add a soup/salad/rice combo for $3. The yakitori was good, I think next time I will try more of those. Everything we ordered was good. Really liked the potato salad and croquettes. Solid place for a casual meal.
I simply loved their dishes. I always get excellent customer service here. The place is clean and the cashiers are always very kind. Will visit here again.
Be careful. Some of them were large enough to serve more than 2 people, especially okonomiyaki. The price is excellent compared to the size of the plate.

Amazing place. Took me a while to find a place that makes curry just like I loved when stationed in Okinawa. To bad it's permanently closed.
I constantly stop getting some food here. I enjoyed the quick service and well cooked dishes. They never disappoint.
