I had a disappointing experience at what used to be my favorite restaurant. The food was dry, and the recent menu changes removed the dishes I loved. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined significantly. It was also quite expensive, which made the experience even less enjoyable. I hope they can improve their offerings in the future.
I visited the restaurant and although the food took a bit longer to arrive, it was definitely worth the wait. The prices are great, and the sweet tea was exceptional. The shrimp had just the right level of spiciness. Both the waiter and waitress were friendly and attentive. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I will definitely be returning.
The food was soggy, lukewarm, and seemed old, as if it had been sitting in the pot for a while. Additionally, the sauce was excessively salty. The bathroom was dirty and unpleasant. I definitely won't be returning to this restaurant and wouldn't recommend it to others. Very disappointing!

Great restaurant if you like calmness, and not being overly overcrowded. I only order the boil Combo's which are great. So great I eat there once a week, sometimes even twice Lol.
So glad we stopped here! It's hard to find good Japanese food in NC and this unagi don exceeded expectations. Shrimp mussels were really tasty too, wish we lived closer
They serve generous portions—more than enough for two people! The mild spice level is still quite spicy, though.
