Firstly, the person who gave this 2 stars must have bad taste. Came here for lunch after intending to go to Ovejas Negras which was way too busy. I find it hard to believe Ovejas Negras can be much better than here! The food here is unreal especially the Anchovy Brioche Black Jasmine Rice with Squid. I'd also recommend the squid sandwich... whilst it may be pricier than your average tapas bar- it is well worth it! The tapas here offers something different and is Michelin Star quality! Good Service good decor. 5 Stars!!
Ate here tonight and it was definitely the worst dinner of our trip to Spain. Numerous things on the menu were unavailable when we ordered them. The risotto was pretty good. Other dishes were mediocre to poor and way overpriced for the quality. I don't understand how there are so many excellent reviews for this place. Something must have changed.
A place amongst the others, in the same street... but differentiating in name from the typical along. Umami is truely the other taste of tapas, a real taste. Honest, straight to the point and for sure very tasteful. A true Spanish pleasure with a good wine selection. This all in a trendy atmosphere and perfect service and recommendations.
This is great place to eat down a side street which is much quieter than around the cathedral. We booked and had a nice table, the food was interesting and a little more sophisticated than the other tapas bars but exactly the same price, great quality food. Don’t miss this gem.
