Umami Umami - Reserva de mesa

Umani Umani has really good and unique sushi. The Dresher Roll and Ninja Roll were two standouts. The food alone is reason to go back. That said, service was slow. The waiter was moving constantly, but with only one person and a two floor set up, he was constantly disappearing downstairs to prep and pick up food. People who came in after us sat downstairs and watched us while they waited to be seated. The building is historic, but inside is totally disconnected from that look and modern looking. Everyone that works there is very helpful and friendly, there just isn’t enough. And don’t look to the right of the building in the courtyard it’s just not appealing before you eat.

The waitress pretended the credit card used to pay my bill was declined. I was with two guests. This was embarrassing and deflated the excitement of a really good meal. I was paying for the entire luncheon. This was my first visit to Umami Umami. I am not pleased. Wait staff should remain helpful and expedient. Allow the food to speak to the customer.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good . Portions were more than enough . We thought the prices were reasonable. There was no menu for children so fortunately we brought snacks for the 5 year old. We would recommend they play some music for ambiance.

Umami Umami has some of the best and freshest sushi and Korean food in the burbs! The service is friendly and efficient. Dinners come with miso soup or a wonderfully tasty side salad. Definitely try the dolsot bim Kim bap and the other Korean specialties!! Reserva una mesa ahora

Umami Umami is consistently fantastic. They have great selection and everything we’ve had has been very tasty. One of my favorite sushi joints. As I tell my friends, “Umami Umami, a place so nice you say it twice. “

My friends and I had a fabulous dinner and had a nice variety of dishes. The service from Alli was SUPER!!!! She was charming and attentive. THANKS Cindy and Chris!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

The food was good but we went for sushi and it was very expensive like 17 dollars per roll so we ended up getting other stuff. Also alcohol menu is very small and expensive
