Umberto's is famous for their pizza and homemade Italian dishes. Now they have added a vegan menu at their Sayville location and it is amazing! They have provided delicious and creative options. Standouts are the vegan pizza slices and the vegan pesto! They have even added a Vegan catering menu for trays of vegan food. Their Mon-wed family dinner special feeds 5-6 people and has vegan options as well. I arrived very late, about 1 hour before closing, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they still had vegan pizza available. I ordered one with cheese and one with mushrooms, both of which were delicious. Even my non-vegan companion enjoyed the pizza. The customer service was excellent, with the staff being very friendly and helpful in explaining which items were vegan.
The vegan pie is simple, but effective. Staff is friendly and easy-going. Limited options though. The vegan broccoli/veg-topped slice is a nice options as well. Update: they have expanded the vegan menu including dinners, sandwiches, toppings, and even garlic knots.
The vegan nut cake was incredibly delicious. The knots were average and we were not impressed by the garden meatball. The buffalo cauliflower was disappointing as it was simply steamed cauliflower in buffalo sauce - we were hoping for it to be battered.

The vegan pizza there is delicious and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. They have gone out of their way to make something vegan, and truly know their menu. They are expanding their vegan menu in the fall!
A relatively new vegan menu (with a catering option for all dishes) which is just so delicious! Pizzas, garlic knots, pasta dishes, and all excellent portion sizes. Has become our go-to pizzeria!
There are a lot of choices at this restaurant. I always order multiple dishes and they are always delicious. My favorite is the vegan Sicilian cake.
umberto is so good. Full vegan menu with delicious options. garlic knot, meatball parm hero, pizza/paste. never disappointed.
