We adore Umbertos! The food is so good! We have ordered from them for years. And it has consistently been wonderful! Real Italian food, home made right here in Pinellas county. We order it on Uber eats and they have always gotten our order perfect. Right down to the bread, they never forget anything! And you're going to feel like you've stepped right back into your Nona's kitchen because the food is so good! Our party of four had appetizers of meatballs and escarole (using crusty bread to dip); both were excellent. At Italian restaurants, I almost always elect linguine with meatballs and sausage (hand me that tablespoon for twirling, please) with a Chianti, and did here. The linguine was al dente (thumbs up) and the meatless sauce had a nice touch of sweetness. Haven’t even left yet, but wanted to express how delicious everything was. I am an Italian woman who never eats Italian. I know, I know, that’s crazy. I decided to try the chicken and eggplant parm. Omg it was delicious! I have to take half home because it is so big. I normally finish all my food, and everyone else’s, just sayin My husband is a calzone connoisseur, and said his calzone was the best ever! He did ask for 70/30 ricotta and they delivered. We ordered cannolis to go.
Arrived a few minutes after two pm. Friday 5/17, waited around 30 minutes, part of the crust was blackened due to overcooking. Had requested extra sauce, that didn't happen and there was almost no cheese on my 23.00 dollar pizza. Very disappointed. Wasn't able to express my disappointment, was told they were understaffed. Won't be returning.

Pat and his crew have the best Italian food in Pinellas. I drive from St Pete to eat there. I’ve never had a bad meal at Umberto’s. You won’t regret make plans to eat there.
Umberto's is our go-to for authentic Italian. The owners are from Italy, Naples, I believe. It's also our go-to for pizza! Their pizza sauce is top-notch.
Delicious food and awesome service. Will definitely be back as regulars. We pass about 50 pizza places to get here from our home. Well worth it.
