I called in a pizza order and the background noise level was quite high. The young woman taking my order couldn't hear my name well, instead of saying excuse me, she replied with "what?" She didn't listen to my request and I had to repeat myself several times as she seemed quite distracted. When I picked up the pizza, another young woman met me with quite an attitude and asked for my name twice, again saying "huh"? This was very unprofessional. Older gentlemen who was sitting people was rude. Made comments about My husband is younger? He's not. Plus I said we have reservations 630 he went on with a story that they don't bother with reservations that's only for 4star restaurants. Honestly, we should have just left, just bad timing and hungry kept us there. Sat outside with heaters not warm enough too breezy. With this said, the server was fine, food came quick enough and mostly of good quality, my husband's veal was not so great. We both agreed, will never return and would never recommend.
Mobbed on a Friday nights We even had to wait with a reservation and then finally got seated by the back door and froze every time somebody came in. The food was average to below average at most. Tasted like jar sauce and bread was stale never return to this restaurant
The reservation was not honoured, as about 40 people wait and stand in the restaurant. Waited 15 minutes after check-in with manager and left when nobody left. Restaurant should not accept reservations. Very disappointed

at umbertos in massapequa, as usual. carlos and antonio are great workers. polite and very professional. Eat comes hot and tasty. carlos is a big manager.
Mike is the best!! Wish he worked everyday .. I grab lunch only when he is there! he is the friendliest and always provides great service.
