Umi Sushi Japanese

I remember this location as a nice Italian restaurant many years ago. The building and interior has deteriorated quite a bit since then. But our waitress was nice and the food excellent. $8 martinis are tough to beat as well. None of us had the sushi but the spicy beef dinner I had was very good. Doesn't look like they have too many eat in diners. We were the only people there at 7 on a Saturday night. Excellent place for takeout and a friendly place for eat in if you don't mind the shabby interior.

Try this place!!! Their food is always delicious and so fresh! We enjoy ordering their ramen and most recently we ordered from their hibachi menu- all wonderful! Their salads and cooked veggies are always very fresh. They are very close to home for us and we enjoy ordering takeout from them. We’ve never eaten on premises but my husband says it seems really nice in there.

The fish here is always fresh. I requested a custom roll, and they were more than willing to accommodate me. What I really appreciate about UMI is that they don’t rush you; you're welcome to relax and savor your meal. Don't let the exterior fool you—while it may not look appealing, the quality of the food is definitely worth it.

Very quaint and quiet place. The food came out fast and was delicious. The outside seems a bit sketchy but don’t let that deter you, we took a chance on going in because of another reviewer and I’m so glad we did! Definitely a nice little sushi spot. Reserva una mesa ahora

The chicken hibachi was a bit dry, and I didn't particularly enjoy the fried rice. However, my salad was significantly larger than what I usually find at other places, which was a pleasant surprise.

Umi has never let me down, not even a little bit. Everything I've ever ordered from here has been 10 out of 10. Rice, fish, noodles all fantastic! Have yet to dine in, but I'd love to eventually.

I'm a real basic spicy salmon, spicy crab roll kind of guy, and didn't imagine there was much difference in that no matter what sushi place you go to, but umi really hit it out of the park.

We had a fantastic experience! The food, service, and atmosphere were great. Tim was overly accommodating and we look forward to returning with a big party.

We loved dining there until pandemic forced them to do takeout only. But thank God for the takeout cuz that was our Friday night thing during lockdown.
