Umiko - Reservar una mesa

Quite an experience, walking in a brightly lit room with a plastic lady at the bar and ending up in a minimalist dark restaurant. My daughter and friend invited me for lunch. We didn’t order but waited for their suggestions. Well, they were special, complex and unexpected. Great quality seafood. Excellent Rias Baixas as companion of the food. I wasn’t allowed to pay the bill but keep in mind that quality has its price. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Excellent bakery with exclusive products for Madrid. However, we want a second time at 7:40 for take away bakery for a dinner party we had and the doors were closed, we try to speak to the lady who was already cleaning and wrapping up and she ignored us through the window. I would go again as I liked the pastry, but the opening times should be respected or then changed.

A Spanish friend had recommended Umiko when we were planning our vacation in Spain, we are soooo glad she did. We had an amazing experience, every single dish was absolutely exquisite, the ambiance of the restaurant is really nice; highly recommend it for an outstanding culinary experience with great decor and fabulous service!

The chef Juan Alcalde was coughing in the food which was disgusting. The food was mediocre and service really slow. I do not recommend this restaurant at all! Price expensive for the bad experience. Even being invited I would not repeat!

A short walk from our hotel, Umiko, was the perfect place for our sushi fix in Madrid.
