Umut Ocakbasi

We are very familiar with the Umut Ocakbasi Dalston Branch and when we found that one of our previous Turkish haunts had changed management and gone teetotal, we decided to visit the Harringey Branch. This newer branch is newly decorated to a high standard and is well worth a visit. The menu is very similar to that on offer in Dalston branch and some of the same specialities are on the menu.

Food here is good, simple menu, good cook, recently freshened up a little/ refurbished, you must try the mixed kebabs here and the pomegranate onion. Lovely marinated meat, always freshly cooked in front of you on the grill, good choice of salads also.

Cheap food, delicious kebabs, plates of complimentary starters. Food isn’t rushed and it’s possible to spend an evening here drinking and eating. A great find
