Un canard sous l'olivier

I think I have just reviewed this under hotels instead of restaurants so will do again!We called in here for lunch recently and were very pleasantly surprised. We had heard good reviews from friends and thought we'd give it a try.The hosts were extremely welcoming, the dining room has a good atmosphere and the food was excellent. It was a lunchtime where the plat du jour was steak and chips, which initially worried me. We were also told that if we didn't want steak they could do us trout, however the steak was really tender and tasty. We will certainly go back again

We ate here as a group of 10. From arrival we were made to feel so welcome. They were running a little late so we had drinks and snack on the front terrace. The food was fabulous - we all had the set menu at €28 for 3 courses and it was excellent value for money. They were very passionate and proud about their food and the service and attentiveness was excellent. A second visit - definitely ! A gem of a place.

We loved our visit to this restaurant. It started with a warm welcome from the owners. The place looks very nice. Unfortunately the bad weather prohibited us from eating outdoors. The new terrasse looks wonderfull. The food was very good. French with personal twist. Price/quality perfect!We will return soon!

Good food, good value and the warmest of welcomes - We are local and very lucky to have this gem so close by, we have eaten here many times since it was re-opened by new owners last year, it has always been excellent. Recommend booking in order not to be disappointed.

Great Food with reasonable Prices. Hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive. A small treasure in the middle of nowhere. Dying to go back on our next vacation.(Family nearby)
