I'm sure the restaurants packed in around the main squares are quite acceptable but we didn't want yet another meal designed and priced for the tourist. We decided to follow the advice of our fellow Tripadvisors and we were not disappointed! This place ended up being more of an authentic French experience just by not trying so hard to be 'French' or anything else.We visited in March so it was not quite high season. Most restaurants were not very busy for lunch. However, Un Grain De was packed with locals. I don't know if they take reservations but you might keep that in mind. Well, used TA and were lucky to get our hotel to reserve a table only an hour before we dined at 7.30pm. Lost count of the number of people who were turned away during our meal. Also, the restaurant was shutting for the holidays after tonight.Set 20 euro menu with a good choice and excellent food. Good wine list glass or bottle at reasonable prices.Very friendly staff and lovely lady in charge, and great atmosphere as the evening drew on.All dishes good and generous portions but our two desserts were delightful.Aperitif, two glasses of Malbec, two coffees, two three course meals for 55 euro. ( and some free sweets at the end!).Booking essential.

The menus were a bit confusing as what was written on the chalkboard was different from the carte that was given to you. Regardless, we both ordered 2 courses with a pitcher of rose for 38.50E, which was very reasonable. The food was average. Yes, it was cheap but no, I would not return as I would rather spend a few dollars more and get a more memorable meal. Overall, the meals were quite plain and would not be classified as typical French cooking. They jazz up the dining experience by giving you a plateful of candy at the end of your meal. The candy offerings reminded me of what I used to buy at the corner store when I was a child.

昨天晚上拜訪了這家餐廳，到現在還在回想這整個夜晚！餐廳老闆和員工都非常的友善！很逗人開心以及非常體貼！食物非常的美味,擺盤非常的漂亮,品質很好重點是價錢非常驚人!!!!我們點的是晚間三道式套餐只要20歐元!!!中午的升到是套餐甚至只要13歐元！再次謝謝Un Grain De 餐廳帶給我們一個非常美好的夜晚.謝謝你!!!!Was there last night and still feel so wonderful feelings of the whole evening !! Visited Un Grain twice en route and returning from our family holiday in France. This is a marvellous couple-run small venue in central Rouen. It's always full and mainly with discerning French diners. The food is imaginative and very tasty as well as excellent value amongst the more expensive "standard fayre" offerings nearby. They even cooked plain chicken and mash for our youngest! Desserts are fabulous. It's all fabulous!! Book and enjoy...

Very simple menu which was a nice change from other restaurants in Rouen.We ordered melon soup beef steak and white fish, all very tasty.Melon soup was delicious and quite surprising in taste. In general, food was excellent and the service was great.I can recommend this place to everyone.

It's a very good place for lunch, the food is tasty and the prices low. Apart from the normal menu, they have the menu of the day with 2 choices/course.They also have menus in English. I do recommend this restaurant!

Brilliant food (had the 3-course for €16) and great wine (house white was spot on!). Loved the variety of the menu as well as the friendly service. This little gem is not to be missed!!

We ordered full menu and everything was tasty. It is nice place to have a dinner but the service could be better.
